Free Pattern: The Petite Phantom, Amigurumi Ghost

This little guy isn't so scary. You can whip him up in about 30 – 40 minutes.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy
SIZE: One Size. About 2.5 in. (9 cm) tall

MATERIALS
• Berroco Weekend Chunky yarn in Vanilla
• Size H Hook
• Small amount of fiberfill
• Black embroidery thread for mouth.
• Black clay for eyes, or embroidery thread

GAUGE:
Exact gauge is not important to this project

STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc 2 sts together)
Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop.
Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook. This is one single crochet decrease

NOTES:
Ghost is worked in rounds. At end of row slipstitch to beginning of round, and chain 1 to begin next round

Ghost Head & Body
Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic loop (4sts)
Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around (8sts)
Rnd 3: (Sc in first sc, 2sc in next sc) Rep around (12sts)
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) Rep around (16sts)
Rnd 5: Sc in next sc around (16sts)
Rnd 6: Sc in next sc around (16sts)
Rnd 7: (Sc 2tog, Sc in next 3 Sc) Rep around (12 sts)
Rnd 8: (Sc 2tog, Sc in next 3 Sc) Rep around (9 sts)
Rnd 9: (Sc in next 2 sc, 2sc in next sc) Rep around (12 sts)
Rnd 10: (Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) Rep around (14 sts)
Rnd 11: (Sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) Rep around (16 sts)
Rnd 12: 2 sc in sc around (32 sts)

Bottom:
Work in rounds to make the bottom piece.

Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic loop (4sts)
Rnd 2: (2sc in each sc around) (8sts)
Rnd 3: (2sc in each sc around) Rep around (16sts)
Rnd 4: (Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) Rep around (24 sts)

Attach the bottom to the ghost using a mattress stitch. Embroider mouth and eyes
