Me and Megan have all kinds of things cooking this week!
I finished my first sewing project! It’s a grocery tote that I started about a month ago in sewing class. I got sick and missed the 2nd class where we finish the top and attach the straps. I didn’t really understand the pattern so it didn’t turn out that great, but I’m still happy to have finished it. You can find a tutorial here for sewing a reversible grocery tote.
The grey wool pillow is my 2nd sewing project (completed right after the first). My whole reason for learning to sew is to do home decor. I just sewed a rectangle, and used the stuffing I had for my amigurumi projects.
The pile of white glittery yarn is a Luna the Unicorn amigurumi by Madison’s Craft Nook that I’ve been working on the last few weeks. This is the 3rd one I’ve made. I love the extra big size from the chunky yarn and size H hook.
The basket full of yarn is for a pillow cover pattern that Megan is working on. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
The 2 crochet motifs are from 201 Crochet Motifs, blocks, projects and ideas. I’m trying out some new stitches and patterns. I’m not sure where these will end up, but am thinking some streamers for the girl’s room.
